Our Mission
At Discovery Study and Travel, our mission is to provide carefully curated study abroad programmes that encourage transformative social and educational experiences. We are committed to delivering unparalleled support and guidance to all our students and their families, and we work closely with carefully selected schools, to provide the level of support we believe our students should have in New Zealand.
Our History
Discovery is a study travel agency specialising in recruiting International secondary school students to study in New Zealand and in Australia, as well as supporting them while in our programmes, Down Under.

As native English-speaking countries, Australia and New Zealand are second to none as study destinations. Our government schools, as well as our private and integrated schools, are fantastically well resourced and managed. They offer a wide range of academic programmes, and also impressive technological facilities and co-curricular options. Having choices is important to our education system, so that all our young people have access to options that match their talents and their vocational preferences.

Discovery welcomed its very first group of students in Auckland, back in 2000, when we celebrated 20 years of activities in New Zealand and 10 years in Australia. Discovery is an award-winning small agency that is very focused on quality services to its clients.

Learning a second language involves the acquisition and practice of multi-layered skills, increasing memory and intellectual capacity. These skills can be used again and again, which subsequently equip and encourage young learners to keep interested in foreign language learning, and in worldwide cultural diversity.
Discovery has welcomed and assisted thousands of students and we have seen first-hand how beneficial a study abroad experience for young learners can be. Therefore, we shall carry on fostering study links for the youth.
